The Cultural History Museum of Åland is open daily. In the completely renewed main exhibition you can follow Åland’s story, from the first seal-hunters, who set foot on these rocky islands, to today’s global and multi-cultural society. The exhibition is divided up chronologically – prehistory, the medieval period, the era of the great powers, the 1800s and the 1900s – guiding you step

 

Regular opening hours

The museum is open every day at 10-17.

Oct-Jan: Closed Mondays,
Tuesday-Sunday 11-17 and
Thursdays 11-20.

December 24, Christmas Eve Closed
December 25, Christmas Day Closed
December 26, Boxing Day 11-15

January 6, Twelfth Day of Christmas Closed

ADMISSION
The admission includes entrance for
both the Cultural History Museum and
the Art Muesum.
Free admission on the first Thursday each month.

Annual pass, adults 25€
Annual pass, others 15€
(The annual passes are valid
12 months after the date of purchase.)
Groups minimun of 10 people 5€/person
(Groups pay the admission as one
transaktion.)

Guided tours (advanced reservations
